Project

Medicare and Medicaid prescription vouchers need to be converted into a referable image archive with multiple search and sorting criteria.

Solutions

As the number of vouchers exceeded couple of million entries, the index generation was a huge task. More than 20 data entry operators were deployed on the project. The images of the pages with prescription entries were scanned into multi page tiff file.

A database was created with index used as reference pointers into the tiff files. A document management portal software with search queries provided interface for accessing the individual or group of entries depending on the search criteria.
