The retail stores are the offspring of a 40 year old tailoring tradition created by the Ratan family. Situation:
Q Custom Clothier was interested in defining the tailoring industry with adding a custom shirt builder application to their website. The idea was to offer online customers the ability to customize dress shirts, with a large selection of fabrics, patterns, styles and more through the shirt builder. The goal/ mindset behind the idea was that seeing the desired shirt created and able to make changes in real time the customer would follow through with more online purchases, leading to more revenue being generated through the website.
Solution:
Plasma Computing Group researched the options available for creating the most user friendly custom shirt builder application that could be integrated with www.qcustomclothier.com. The successfully developed and implemented application allows the customer to build their shirt from the fabric selection. The initial fabric details are selected first, then collar/ cuff selection, front and back styles, fitting preference, pocket selection, monogramming options and measurement numbers, followed by a shopping cart to finalize the purchasing process. The custom shirt builder is used by customers for convenience and unique custom shirt design.
