Builders FirstSource had the ambition to become the leading supplier of structural
building materials to homebuilders. A key component necessary to realize that ambition
would be an upgrade to their existing web portal. Builders FirstSource engaged with
Plasma to assist them in this effort.
The first phase in this engagement will be Plasma's complete revamp of the existing
Builders FirstSource web portal. The new look and feel will result in increased
visitor traffic, visitor retention and lead-generation. The new design will consist
of a new user interface including new navigations and screens. The new portal will
consist of 40 pages and will include dynamic features such as a homepage flash slideshow,
contact form, and more.
A dynamic Content Manager will also be provided which will allow the client to manage
sectioned textual and image aspects of the portal and to keep it updated with fresh
content, news, documents, videos, etc.
Once launched, the new Builders FirstSource web portal will be a key contributor
to future revenue and market growth.
