To create a check image and associated transaction tracking system for customer support
Solutions
A database of online check images and the associated transactions are created in multi page tiff format. The database is organized referable by date and account number. Additional details related to the check are gathered by using bar codes, OCR and magnetic reader.
All this information is organized in the database in the correct tables. A document management application was developed which would provide the customer support staff with capabilities to do multiple keyword searches on the database to retrieve the right information for the inquiring customer.
The whole application was deployed as a portal on the banks intranet. A multi-level security and user access protocols were implemented to keep the data secure.
